Guidelines for Registered Engineer’s Registration

 
  1. Engineer(s) graduated after April 2005 from any University/Institution are registered as "Registered Engineer", provided they possess accredited engineering qualification.
  2. "Registered Engineer" is a person who holds Bachelor degree in any Engineering Discipline/ Engineering program of a University/institution accredited by PEC or Professional Body of the respective country.
  3. For Pakistani Engineering Universities/Institutions, please visit First Schedule of PEC Act 1976 .
  4. For Foreign Engineering Universities/Institutions, please visit Second Schedule of PEC Act 1976
  5. PEC grants Complimentary registration to all such applicants who graduated in year 2017 or 2018. Graduates of previous year(s) are required to deposit fee as per schedule.
  6. Complementary Registration Certificate expires in the same year when apply, however, smart card is valid for maximum three years including year of issue. Smart card is also a complimentary. Engineer will have to apply for renewal/validity after its expiry. Renewal card is issued after fulfillment of CDP points, which is mandatory for renewal of registration.
  7. Please read application form carefully and provide correct information while submitting application through on-line system, as you will not be able to amend/change any data after submitting the application.
  8. Please provide readable scanned copies of the testimonials, fee challan, CNIC, signature and photograph with blue background. The same photograph will be printed on your PEC registration certificate.
  9. Size of Scanned copies of all document should range from 600Kb to 1MB per file.
  10. Google Chrome is the most compatible browser for the application submission.
  11. Please scan your documents from a scanner. Images of document and photograph taken from mobile phones are not acceptable.
  12. Any kind of fee deposited through demand draft/pay order is not acceptable.
  13. Registration fee can be deposited in any online branch of MCB, HBL, Faysal Bank (View Details). Challan forms are available in every branch of these Banks.
