Big News for Young Engineers in Pakistan!
The Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) has officially approved the formation of the Young Engineers National Forum (YENF) — a groundbreaking initiative to empower, unite, and uplift young engineers across the country.
At PEC’s 51st Governing Body meeting chaired by Engr. Waseem Nazir, the decision was made to establish this national-level platform aimed at boosting leadership, professional development, and technical skills among Pakistan’s youth in engineering.
YENF Goals:
- Unite engineering associations, societies & youth groups under one umbrella.
- Develop leadership and technical capabilities.
- Build a national database of young engineers.
- Provide guidance and recommendations tailored to young engineers’ needs.
- Foster unity, national cohesion, and innovation in the engineering profession.
PEC invites all young engineers, associations, and groups to become part of this transformative movement.

Chairman PEC Engr Waseem Nazir called on Federal Minister for Science & Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi and briefed him on the recent initiatives and reforms undertaken by PEC for the uplift of the engineering profession. The Federal Minister appreciated the efforts and assured his full support for strengthening the role of engineers in national development
